Partner Terms & Conditions

A confirmed partnership carries a non-withdrawable minimum term of one year. Early exit is only permitted where DAC leadership and the Faculty Advisor agree to it in writing, or where DAC itself terminates the partnership for cause as described in these terms.

All information provided in the partnership registration form must be accurate, current and complete. DAC may verify submitted details and reserves the right to decline, pause or revoke any partnership founded on false, misleading or incomplete information.

By submitting the form, you consent to DAC storing your details in its official records and spreadsheets, and to being contacted by DAC regarding partnership coordination, events, opportunities and related updates. Your data will be used only for legitimate partnership purposes.

Registration enables collaboration on mutually agreed activities such as advisory sessions, events, live projects, mentorship, internships or sponsorship. It does not by itself create any employment, agency or binding commercial contract unless a separate written agreement is signed by both parties.

Partners grant DAC permission to acknowledge the partnership using their name and logo on the DAC website, brochures and event material. Neither party may misrepresent the nature or extent of the partnership. Branding will be removed on request once the partnership formally concludes.

All joint activities must align with DAC's AI Ethics & Responsible AI Framework. Partners agree not to engage the Cell or its members in any deceptive, discriminatory, privacy-violating, surveillance-based or otherwise harmful use of AI.

Any non-public information exchanged during the partnership — including student data, internal plans or proprietary material — must be kept confidential and used solely for the agreed collaboration. This obligation continues beyond the end of the partnership.

Registering as a partner creates no automatic financial obligation for either party. Any sponsorship, funding, paid engagement or resource commitment must be documented in a separate written agreement before it becomes binding.

Partners engaging students through internships or projects must do so ethically and fairly — with a clear learning scope, safe and respectful conditions, no exploitative unpaid labour beyond what is agreed, and appropriate credit or certification where applicable.

Partners and their representatives must act professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or conduct that brings disrepute to DGU or DAC may result in immediate termination of the partnership by DAC, notwithstanding the one-year term.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your registration governs your partnership. Where a separate signed agreement exists, that agreement prevails over these terms. All matters are subject to DGU institutional policy and the jurisdiction of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
